Finding the Perfect Playground Shouldn’t Be Hard

When my family moved to Vancouver Island, we quickly discovered that Greater Victoria isn’t one place, it’s thirteen municipalities, each with its own parks, neighbourhoods, and hidden gems. For a family trying to get settled, it was overwhelming.

All I wanted was to find a great playground where my kids could run around, make friends, and feel at home. But good, reliable information was surprisingly hard to find.

So I started visiting playgrounds myself, with my two daughters in tow, taking notes, snapping photos, and figuring out which parks were worth the trip. Victoria Playground Review is the resource I wished had existed when we arrived.

Every review on this site comes from a real visit, by a real Victoria dad, with real kids. I cover playgrounds across all of Greater Victoria’s municipalities, from Saanich to Sidney, Langford to Oak Bay, so you can spend less time searching and more time playing.

This site is very much a work in progress. Greater Victoria has a lot of playgrounds, and we’ve got a lot of adventures ahead of us. New reviews will be added regularly as we explore more of this beautiful region, so check back often!
