Francisco Park is a small, tidy community park tucked into a quiet residential street in Victoria. It does exactly what a neighbourhood park should it gives local kids a place to play without having to go far.
The Playground
The equipment is simple but covers the basics well. There’s one twisty slide, a baby/toddler swing, a sling swing, and a little spring rocker. The surface is wood chips throughout. It’s a modest setup, but perfectly suited to younger toddlers and smaller children who don’t need much to have a great time.
The Park
Beyond the playground there’s a generously sized field with a slight incline to it, great for a kickaround or just letting kids burn off some energy. The park is surrounded by single family housing, giving it a calm, safe neighbourhood feel.
For seating there’s one bench right beside the playground for keeping a close eye on the kids, plus a picnic bench for snack time.
Our Verdict
Francisco Park is a lovely little community park, ideal for families who live nearby. That said, if you’re planning a dedicated playground outing and don’t live in the immediate area, it’s worth knowing that Sierra Park is just a short drive away and offers considerably more for kids of all ages.
